This beautiful wood has striking curly or fiddlebacked grain pattern. The heartwood ranges from creamy white to a light grayish color. It machines well and takes a high polish. (Lagerstroemia spp.) Larger blocks are sawn to +- 1/4" of size listed, smaller blocks +- 1/8". Grain runs with the longest dimension.
